A few of our customer confused that the surface temperature of led driver is very high. Is it due to poor quality? Most people would think so, but it's not true.
In order to dissipate heat, our led driver will be filled with silicone on the top of the shell. After the glue is applied, all the heat is transferred to the outer shell. Especially the position of the mos is with the highest temperature, so the situation that our customers report is correct. But it is a good thing that the temperature of the outer casing is so high, indicating that the temperature of the components inside is derived, rather than being wrapped inside, which is a good phenomenon for the led driver. The heat loses in time to ensure the service life of the led driver.
Tauras Technology’s UL listed led driver can be 5 years warranty during 85%-90% loading. While it can be 3 years warranty during full loading.
